Cardboard Cultist — Magic without gatekeeping

I write software for a living.I make Magic content after my kid falls asleep.Memes, skits, rules, trivia. Rarely a plan.

None of this is a full-time operation. It is a senior developer with a bedtime routine and a stubborn opinion that Magic should be easier to get into than people make it. No tier lists. No “well, actually”. Occasionally a candle.

Two things I built instead of sleeping.

Find cards by describing them.

Type “blue thing that counters stuff for two” and it finds the card. Built because sometimes I can’t be bothered to remember how Scryfall works.

A daily guessing game. Higher or lower on mana value. There is a leaderboard. You can climb it. And brag about it. You’re welcome.
